Coupland, TX Dance Hall 2-20-10
Deryl, I saw your show last night in Coupland. We had a large party there, and were entertaining many guests and family in anticipation of her wedding this summer. I have been a casual fan, and have always loved the song, "Things are fixin'' to get real good." As a matter of fact, that has become somewhat of a daily affirmation for me, as we all stuggle to get through life. However, I have always been Blessed, and that line always keeps me looking forward in a positive manner. Hey, I even used to have a little red truck, back when I was young and completely broke! Anyway, I was blown away by your show! It was fantastic, and I''ll tell anybody and everybody that you are a true talent. You look like you thoroughly enjoy what you do! All my friends and family thought you did a great job, and had a great time! The night was very good anyway, but you made it a night that I will never forget. Thank you, Mr. Dodd. I look forward to meeting you someday. Best of luck,

I owned/ran a small used appliance store in Antioch TN, & he used to come by with his guitar and jam with my ex-fiance Ronnie & younger brother Mike, both guitarists and vocalists. Not only does he have talent, he has alot of HEART, and he has a GOOD HEART, as well. Deryl even sang at my Mike''s funeral when he died of cancer at age 36... not many hard working, aspiring & multi-talented musicians would''ve taken the time out of their busy lives to be there for us in our darkest moment, but Deryl did, & I''ll never forget him. When I saw his first album in Walmart in 96, I actually cri
