Originally from the Northeast, Steve has been performing since the seventies. After moving back to Nashville in ’95, he reconnected with Deryl, after they had met at a Martina McBride show where Steve’s band was opening and Deryl was Martina’s lead guitarist. Steve has been with Deryl since ‘97 and moved to Texas in ‘03 when Deryl moved back to his home state of Texas.

Steve has played a major role in defining the bands live sound and has contributed to many of Deryl’s recordings. Steve is also an active session guitarist, adding his unique signature to other artist projects and is also a songwriter. “Over the years, I’ve been very fortunate to perform with so many great players and blessed to be able to continue making music.”
